What you'd piece together without Notch.

Most households juggle a budgeting app, a spreadsheet for the house, an investment tracker and their bank's app. Here's how that compares.

Questions

Straight answers.

What's the difference between Lite and Pro?

Notch Lite covers your everyday money: budgets, spending, bills, accounts, net worth, investments with dividends, your home, debt payoff help, Plan basics and Ask Notch. Notch Pro adds the tools for building wealth: rental properties and the deal analyzer, lending (hard money and private loans), Plan in full with scenarios and life events, exports, the portfolio risk check and more AI answers.

Is AI included in Lite?

Yes. Ask Notch and the AI tools are in both plans. Lite includes 50 AI answers a month, which covers everyday use; Pro includes 500.

How does the free trial work?

Every trial is 7 days of Notch Pro, so every feature is unlocked. You add a card to start, we email you a reminder 3 days before the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime in Settings → Membership before then. If you cancel, you're never charged.

Is it really the same price for couples?

Yes, in both plans. One subscription covers two people in the same household. Each of you gets your own login, and you choose exactly what you share.

What's the difference between monthly and yearly?

Only the price. Notch Lite is $12.99 a month or $99 a year ($8.25 a month, about 36% off). Notch Pro is $24.99 a month or $199 a year ($16.58 a month, about 34% off). You get the same features either way.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Switch between Lite and Pro, or monthly and yearly, or cancel, from Settings → Membership. Changes are prorated, so you only pay for what you use. If you cancel, Notch keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.

Is my money safe? Can Notch move it?

No, Notch can never move money. Bank connections are read-only, through Plaid, the same service used by thousands of financial apps. We never see your bank password.

Do you sell my data or show ads?

Never. You pay for Notch, so you're the customer, not the product. There are no ads and no credit card offers.

Which banks does Notch work with?

Notch connects through Plaid, which supports thousands of U.S. banks, credit cards, brokerages and lenders. You can also add accounts, properties and investments by hand.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Notch works today in any web browser on your computer, and you can add it to your phone's home screen. Native iPhone and Android apps are on the way.

Can I get my data out?

Anytime. Download your transactions as a spreadsheet, export reports as PDFs, or delete your account and data from Settings.

Does Notch give financial advice?

No. Notch is for organizing and understanding your money, with education built in. It isn't a bank, broker or financial advisor.

When is the credit score feature coming?

It's in the works. When it arrives, it'll be included in your plan at no extra cost.
